General Information and Services
The CANTIENICA® Studio Zurich offers training based on the CANTIENICA® method, which is available in group and individual sessions, private lessons, or workshops.

The following General Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between CANTIENICA AG and course participants (hereinafter referred to as “the Customer”) who register for the services offered. The version in effect at the time the contract is concluded shall apply.

Group lessons
Lessons at the CANTIENICA® studio in Zurich and livestream lessons are considered equivalent. Appointments are reserved and binding as booked. If an appointment cannot be kept, it must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance; otherwise, the reserved time (1 hour) will be charged. Subscriptions are valid for the agreed period. Unused appointments expire and are non-refundable. In the event of an absence of at least two consecutive weeks due to illness or accident, an annual subscription can be extended by the corresponding period of absence upon presentation of a doctor’s certificate. Monthly subscriptions are non-renewable. Subscriptions are personal and non-transferable.

Personal training
Appointments are reserved and binding as booked. If an appointment cannot be kept, we require notification at least 24 hours in advance; otherwise, the reserved time (1.5 hours) will be charged. If the client arrives late, the treatment time will be reduced accordingly.

Workshops
Registrations and cancellations must be submitted no later than 5 business days before the scheduled date. If you cancel up to 3 days before the workshop begins, half of the course fee is due; if you cancel later than that, the full course fee will be charged. A substitute may attend the workshop by prior arrangement.

Lesson and workshop cancellations
CANTIENICA AG reserves the right to cancel a lesson or workshop for important reasons, particularly in the event of instructor illness, insufficient participant numbers, or other unforeseen circumstances. In this case, course fees already paid will be fully refunded, or existing subscriptions will be extended by the duration of the lesson.

Furthermore, in the event of low enrollment, CANTIENICA AG reserves the right to change the dates and times of advertised workshops in consultation with customers. Customers may not assert any claims in this regard.

Prices
The prices applicable are those listed on https://www.sportsnow.ch/cantienica-studio-zurich at the time of booking. These prices are subject to change without notice. Prices in brochures, flyers, or other advertisements are not binding.

Location
Subscriptions and passes can also be purchased at the new location on Schaffhauserplatz in Zurich. 

Health Insurance Coverage for the
The CANTIENICA® method is not currently covered by health insurance. Please contact your insurance provider directly to find out if they may cover the costs. If necessary, a time sheet can be provided.

Liability
Purchasing a subscription, booking a workshop, or scheduling a private lesson implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. In connection with this, the customer hereby declares (for themselves personally or for a minor for whom they are responsible) that they will not assert any claims for damages against CANTIENICA AG, the CANTIENICA® Studio Zurich, Benita Cantieni, or their employees, agents, assistants, or legal successors. This declaration covers all claims arising from any damages, whether to persons or property, directly or indirectly caused by CANTIENICA® training according to Benita Cantieni or related programs. The aforementioned person’s liability for gross negligence remains unaffected.

CANTIENICA AG is not liable for initial worsening of symptoms (muscle soreness, skin reactions, emotional reactions) or for any internal or external medical conditions that become apparent or noticeable as a result of the physical training and were not previously diagnosed by a doctor.

Should consequential damages occur despite proper use, and such damages are attributable to a customer’s failure to disclose grounds for exclusion, CANTIENICA AG shall be held harmless from any liability. This also applies if a ground for exclusion was unknown to the customer and could not have been identified by the organizer.

Liability insurance is in place for accidents that occur on the premises of CANTIENICA AG and result in property damage or personal injury. The customer is responsible for obtaining this insurance.

The customer is personally liable for any damage to the premises and equipment caused by the customer’s improper use.

CANTIENICA AG is not liable for the loss of or damage to personal belongings in the associated areas, such as the coat check, etc. Valuables may be left in the training room.

Privacy Policy
As part of the business relationship with CANTIENICA AG, the customer agrees to the storage and processing of the necessary personal data. Data required to fulfill services may be shared with contracted instructors. Health-related information is treated as strictly confidential by CANTIENICA AG.
