A study by the University of Bratislava on the effects of the CANTIENICA® method
By Simon Stauber
The University of Bratislava has published a study. It shows that CANTIENICA® exercises can strengthen the pelvic floor to such an extent that quality of life improves substantially.
The aim of the study was to determine the effect of activating the pelvic floor muscles using the CANTIENICA® method.
The focus was on the method’s effectiveness in treating incontinence.
To determine the effect, two groups were studied: an experimental group and a control group. Both groups consisted of 31 female patients with incontinence.
The experimental group underwent training based on the CANTIENICA® method, while the control group was treated with conservative methods.

The study shows that patients who performed CANTIENICA® exercises reported a significantly greater improvement in their quality of life than patients in the control group. Or to put it more plainly: Incontinence can be successfully treated using the CANTIENICA® method.
The authors conclude: “The observed results suggest that the evaluated method is effective in improving quality of life and alleviating the symptoms of urinary incontinence in women.”
