The CANTIENICA® training program combines in-depth knowledge of the body with practical application and career opportunities.
You won’t just learn how to guide exercises. You’ll learn to recognize how alignment develops, how bones support the body, how spaces for breathing open up, and why small changes often have a big impact.
You’ll develop a precise understanding of how posture, movement, breathing, and deep muscles work together—and how you can share this knowledge effectively and in a personalized way.
The training program is suitable for people in the fields of movement, therapy, coaching, yoga, health, or education, as well as for those changing careers who are passionate about bodywork and body intelligence.
Working with a precise method
You will learn about the logical vivatomic CANTIENICA® system and develop the ability to observe posture, movement and tension patterns in a differentiated way and to provide individual support.
Effectively Supporting People
You’ll learn to recognize what uplifts people, how movement patterns can be changed, and how small, precise prompts can influence the entire body.
Opening up new career paths
The training can expand your existing professional field or create the basis for a new career – in the studio, online, independently or as a supplement to your previous work.
Gain Confidence and Expertise
You’ll sharpen your eye for the human body, recognize connections more quickly, and develop greater clarity, precision, and confidence in your teaching.
A 2016 study by the University of Bratislava found that the CANTIENICA® method led to a substantial improvement in quality of life.
CANTIENICA AG is Eduqua.-certified. This ensures that our quality is continuously monitored.
After completing the first intensive course, you may call your program CANTIENICA® Training. Your website or URL may also include the CANTIENICA® brand name.
We never stand still—Benita Cantieni is constantly refining the method. That’s why we’re always offering you opportunities to continue your education.
No two CANTIENICA® instructors have chosen the same path.
One works as a physical therapist, the other as a yoga instructor. Some teach full-time, while others do it as a side job. Some were drawn to the method because of back pain, while others were motivated by curiosity and the joy of learning.
In our podcast, instructors talk about their personal journeys, the challenges they’ve faced, and how their training has changed their work.

Here you’ll find detailed information about what you’re getting into. Everything about the CANTIENICA® method and the structure of the training program across all levels.
In the Level 1 Bronze training module, you’ll learn the basic principles of bodywork using the CANTIENICA® method. You’ll work through each exercise both on your own and as part of a team. This is a core principle of CANTIENICA® Body in Evolution: Only those who have experienced the benefits of the exercises on their own bodies can pass them on with Vivatomisch® precision and expertise. You serve as a role model for the method you wish to teach and instruct. You’ll achieve your personal best in posture, strength, flexibility, and appearance.
Through intensive, hands-on bodywork, you’ll improve your own awareness while simultaneously sharpening your ability to observe others’ posture and movement patterns. Benita Cantieni places great emphasis on the method adapting to the individual—not the other way around. This emphasis on individuality has shaped a unique coaching approach: The instructor does not demonstrate the exercises by performing them first—and certainly does not join in—but rather precisely demonstrates and describes the position, guiding participants into the optimal posture using targeted, non-manipulative grips and touches.
The CANTIENICA® method places the greatest emphasis on safety for the body, muscles, tendons, joints, fascia. The purpose of the individual coaching is that the changes in habitual bad postures (stiff shoulders, pelvic obliquity, knock knees, hunched back, hollow back, etc.) can be consciously perceived by the participants and adopted in everyday life quickly, safely and sustainably.
Touch people. With words. With your eyes. With your hands. Through personalized precise touch Guide them and help them find the optimal position. Use targeted, deliberate language to trigger targeted, deliberate action. Be aware of and in control of your own language and body language. Appreciation Expressing this for others. Turning instruction into an encounter. Meeting each client where they are. Guiding them to where they want to go. Lovingly and mindfully offering what the client needs to achieve their goals.
CANTIENICA® coaching is an integrated part of the basic training, it serves the quality of the teaching. The course trains psychological skills, care in language, demonstration and instruction. CANTIENICA® coaching teaches the ability to guide people into the position that is good for them with targeted, professional, casual touches and movements. CANTIENICA® coaching equips you with self-confidence and a loving view of your clients. You’ll also learn how to distribute your attention generously without losing your own energy.
Simple, safe, sustainable instruction and support for women and men of all ages for prevention and self-healing of discomfort and changes caused by slackening muscles.
We offer these courses in several cities. You can attend in person or online.
The CANTIENCA® training program is designed for people working in the fields of movement, therapy, yoga, coaching, theater, health, or education, as well as for motivated individuals from other fields who are interested in bodywork and anatomy.
Many graduates initially incorporate CANTIENICA® Body in Evolution into their current work. Others gradually build up a second source of income or later work full-time as instructors. How far this path takes you depends on your goals, your commitment, and the services you offer.
No. The training program is not specifically aimed at athletic people. What matters most is an interest in the human body, a willingness to learn, and a passion for understanding how things work. Many participants come from a wide variety of professional and personal backgrounds.
Openness, body awareness, and personal experience with the CANTIENICA® method are helpful. Prior knowledge of anatomy is not required to get started.
The program was designed so that many participants can complete it while working. The self-study, the practical phase, and the training days are interwoven, allowing participants to learn at their own pace within the established structure.
You’ll start gaining practical experience even during the Bronze training. Once you’ve successfully completed the program, you’ll be officially certified to teach and become part of the CANTIENICA® network.
Yes, you can. That’s exactly what’s at the heart of the training. Over time, you’ll develop a trained eye for posture, movement, tension patterns, and alignment. Many graduates say that after completing the training, they see the human body in a completely different light.
The training goes beyond just exercises. You’ll learn how alignment arises from within, how bones support the body, how deep muscles work, and how posture, breathing, and movement interact. The goal isn’t simply to replicate a set routine, but to gain a deep understanding of the living body and its potential.
The licensing program ensures the quality, ongoing development, and uniform standard of the CANTIENCA® method worldwide. At the same time, you remain professionally connected to the international CANTIENCA® community.
Many participants initially join out of personal interest. They want to better understand their own bodies, overcome physical ailments, or learn the method for themselves. It is only as the training progresses that they discover how much joy it brings to pass on this knowledge. Looking back, quite a few say, “I never thought I’d end up teaching.”
Many graduates report that not only has their technical understanding changed, but so has their perspective on their own bodies and on other people. They observe more closely, move more mindfully, and recognize connections that had previously eluded them. The training begins with an understanding of the body—and often leads to greater clarity, presence, and trust in one’s own perception.
With the Bronze level, you’ll lay the foundation for precise work focused on posture, core muscles, and body awareness. From there, you can deepen your knowledge step by step and specialize in various areas.
Silver, Gold, and Platinum expand your expertise in back work, movement, facial exercises, gait, and vivatomic precision—all the way up to becoming a CANTIENICA® Senior Teacher.
The CANTIENICA® training program is structured in modules. You decide, step by step, how deeply you want to delve into the method—from the Bronze level for beginners to specialization in Silver, Gold, or Platinum.
This overview clearly shows you which content, training modules, and investments are associated with each level. This allows you to plan your training path to align with your career goals and your own pace.
Experienced CANTIENICA® Senior and Master Teachers will guide you through the various training levels. Each instructor brings her own expertise, many years of teaching experience, and a trained eye for precise posture and movement.
This way, you’ll learn the method in a practical, nuanced way with personalized guidance—from the basics all the way to specialization.
CANTIENICA® Body in Evolution is protected as both a method and a brand. This has its advantages: Only licensed instructors are permitted to offer CANTIENICA® training and CANTIENICA® workshops. With refresher courses every two years, you’ll stay up to date and expand your offerings,
As a licensed CANTIENICA® trainer, you may call your studio a “CANTIENICA® Studio.” See the license agreement for details.
With the appropriate contract addendum, you can choose a URL that includes “cantienica.” This is especially helpful when you’re starting your own business, as it makes it easier for people to find you online.
