About the Person
Karin Altpeter-Weiss
Midwife, CANTIENICA® Master Teacher
Karin Altpeter-Weiss, 66, is a midwife, master teacher at CANTIENICA® Körper in Evolution, and an instructor. For nearly three decades, she has been supporting women through pregnancy, the postpartum period, and postpartum recovery—with a deep understanding of physical processes, inner resources, and self-determination.
Twenty years ago, she recognized the method’s potential as a way to access areas of the body that provide a sense of security, orientation, and strength. Especially during pregnancy, she has seen how open and receptive the body is—and how quickly women understand what truly helps them.
Karin advocates for a resource-oriented approach to midwifery. She does not view women as “deficient” or in need of help, but rather as competent, capable of learning, and physically intelligent—provided they are able to connect with their own bodies.
