About the Person
Solveig Hoffmann
Solveig Hoffmann, 70, is a doctor and a longtime companion of Benita Cantieni. “She has always encouraged me and only very rarely given me a gentle reminder when I was about to overstep the mark,” says Benita Cantieni. This is the basis for Solveig’s status as a CANTIENICA® Honorary Master Teacher. She works at a center for salutogenesis in Tenerife and supports people using an approach that integrates movement, perception, the nervous system, and life history.
Solveig Hoffmann’s work is characterized by quiet precision and a serene confidence that the body often knows more than we realize. For many years, she has been supporting people through life crises, physical exhaustion, and periods of reorientation. Her work combines medical experience with keen observation, movement, conversation, and a deep respect for the body’s innate intelligence. At the heart of her approach is the idea of enabling: “What happens when a person is able to stand tall again—both physically and emotionally?”
