Sabine Reber
Sabine Reber is a writer, gardening expert, journalist, and passionate observer of life—both outdoors in nature and, more recently, within the human body. For many years, she has been writing about plants, mountains, exercise, medicinal herbs, gardening culture, and the subtle connections between people and the environment.
She became well-known for her books, gardening columns, lectures, and television appearances. She lived in Ireland for several years, where she immersed herself in Anglo-Saxon gardening culture and carried out large-scale gardening projects. Today, she works as a freelance author, communications specialist, and plant expert, dividing her time between Bern, the Bernese Oberland, and the mountains.
She has recently begun focusing intensively on the CANTIENICA® method and is completing her training to become a CANTIENICA® instructor. Starting in July, she will also be teaching at the CANTIENICA® Studio in Zurich.
Sabine Reber writes the column “körperwärts” for CANTIENICA®. In it, she weaves together personal experiences, observations of nature, movement, breath, posture, and body intelligence into poetic yet precise texts that reflect her unique voice. She writes about diagonal lines of force while walking, about the journey “to the center of the Earth,” about posture in everyday life, about mountains, plants, perception, and the surprising insights that arise when movement ceases to be about performance and becomes a matter of awareness.
Her writings are not traditional training reports. They describe how bodily awareness spreads into everyday life—step by step, breath by breath, moving toward the body.
